A teenage girl is dead after being hit by a van in Brooklyn Tuesday afternoon.

Police say Sara Kishik, 15, was crossing Avenue O in Midwood when she was hit by the van, which was serving as a private ambulette.

Kishik was taken to Maimonides Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The driver of the van stayed on scene, and police say no criminality is suspected.

The investigation is ongoing.
