A parade helped ring in the Lunar New Year in Flushing Saturday.
The 17th annual parade featured music, dancing and the dragon, a spectator favorite.
Flushing is home to one of the largest Chinese and East Asian populations in New York City.
About 4,000 people march every year.
This year marks the year of the snake.
