Friday's snowstorm caused problems for Queens residents who had to dig themselves out, but proved profitable for others who pitched in to help. NY1's Ruschell Boone filed the following report.

If you had a snowblower, you were in high demand in Bayside because shoveling wasn't easy.

Alice Burno's neighbor came over to help, but it was an uphill battle.

Just a block away, Andrew Giakoumas was also helping out his neighbors, although, at times, it looked like it was more play than work.

"I love it," Giakoumas said. "I wish it snows every day."

Tell that to the people using a shovel. For many, the snow was a real pain.

"It's a really hard job for me," said one resident. "It's only a little place here."

Mark Weiner got two brothers to help him out. They cleaned his car, steps, walkway and driveway. The brothers said that Weiner offered them $40, even though they asked for $30.

Another woman could have used their help, as her van got stuck trying to make it up a hilly street. After watching her spin her wheels for about 10 minutes, we helped her get up the hill and on her way.
