Chocolate lovers in Brooklyn will soon be getting a treat.

Chocolatier Jacques Torres, who has three other factories in the city, including one in SoHo, says he's opening a large factory in the Brooklyn Army Terminal.

It will include tourist attractions like a chocolate powder room, an ice cream room and a five-ton melter.

Visitors will be able to watch the assembly line of chocolate goods through giant windows.

Torres says he's looking forward to the new factory for another reason.

"One of the perks to be at the B.A.T, Brooklyn Army Terminal, it's on the New York Harbor, so hopefully I will be able to come to work on my boat," he said.

"With Jacques Torres moving here, in terms of its factory, there will be more of me, that's for sure," said Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz. "That's exactly what I don't need anyway, but I'm happy for Jacques and I've been a fan of his, at least on this side and this side anyway."

Torres will take over a floor of the 97-acre complex on February 1.

He says it will take about six to seven months to finish construction and start manufacturing.
