Residents in Brooklyn neighborhoods devastated by Sandy got another chance Thursday to voice their concerns with federal, state and city agencies.
State Senator Marty Golden hosted a follow-up town hall meeting for residents of Gerritsen Beach, Sheepshead Bay and Manhattan Beach.
The meeting brought residents together with officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the city's health, buildings and finance departments, the state's financial services department and Rapid Repairs.
Golden praised FEMA officials for the work they've done so far.
"I've got Willie Nunn here from FEMA, they've been doing a good job," Golden said. "We can beat them up, but I have to tell you, right now, they're out there to do what they have to do. There's a lot more we have to do, but the job is moving along, at least more so today than in the past."
Residents were able to ask the agencies questions and make known any problems they had in the restoration process.
The city's Rapid Repairs program also faced a series of questions from frustrated customers.
Rapid Repairs was the only one not to show at Golden's last town hall meeting.
