There were a lot of candles to be blown out in Brooklyn as a celebration was held for a woman's 113th birthday.
Susannah Jones, more commonly known as Miss Susie, celebrated her birthday with family and other residents of the Vandalia Senior Center Thursday.
Millennium Development partnered with the New York City Department of Aging to throw her a party at the residence.
Her family said the Alabama native cooked for herself until she was 100, when they insisted someone take care of her.
Jones turned 113 on July 6.
