An 81-year-old woman is recovering after she was shot by a bullet Wednesday that flew through the window of her Brooklyn home.

The shots were fired around 5:30 p.m. on Barbey Street in East New York.

Residents say a bullet pierced the window of Agripina Camacho's first floor apartment, hitting her in the cheek.

She was taken to Brookdale Hospital and is expected to be okay.

Police are still looking for the shooter.

Camacho is the grandmother of Detective Louie Camacho, a member of Police Commissioner Ray Kelly's security detail.
