Motorcycle enthusiasts went to the Javits Center on the West Side of Manhattan on Sunday to get a final fill of chrome and horsepower.

The Progressive International Motorcycle Show, the largest show of its kind in the nation, was held this weekend.

"When people come out to the show, they're absolutely kicking the tires on these motorcycles. They're sitting on them, they're feeling the weight, they're seeing how the riding position is, and that's what we want people to do," said Ty van Hooydonk of the Motorcycle Industry Council.

The exhibition featured hundreds of new bikes and accessories for experienced and newer riders and entertainment included stunt shows.
