The new Grimaldi's Pizza is all fired up in Brooklyn.

Fans lined up Saturday at the new restaurant on Front Street in DUMBO.

A rent dispute forced the pizzeria from its original location on Old Fulton Street.

The opening was delayed over concerns about the coal-fired oven, but the Department of Buildings gave special approval for the oven and now pizza fans are happily handing over their dough for some of Grimaldi's.

"We heard it was the best pizza in America, so we wanted to try it," said one customer.

"Just the best ingredients, it's the coal-oven pizza. It's probably the best pizza I've had in New York, I love it here," said another.

"You see it on Travel Channel,” said a third, “so you know, I've come to experience the New York pizza."

Grimaldi's original owner, Patsy Grimaldi, reportedly plans to open a new pizzeria in the original location sometime next year.
