The New York City Police Department has released photos of a Brooklyn woman they say escaped from custody on Thanksgiving Day and the man they believe helped her get away.

Investigators say Janine Power, 28, jumped out of a police car at the intersection of Stillwell and Neptune Avenues in Coney Island early Thursday evening.

She was arrested earlier in the day on charges she robbed a cab driver.

Power is described as being 5'4" tall and weighing around 140 pounds.

The man has been identified as Anthony D'Angelo, 41, of Staten Island.

He is wanted for harboring a prisoner.

Anyone with information about the case is being asked to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS, by texting TIP577 to CRIMES, or by going to NYPDCrimeStoppers.com.
