A peace monument featuring steel from the World Trade Center was unveiled Monday in London's Battersea Park.
The sculpture, created by Brooklyn-based artist Miya Ando, was commissioned by the 9/11 Foundation as part of a project aimed at teaching British teenagers about the events of 10 years ago and their legacy.
The monument has already generated some criticism, with opponents arguing the rusty beams are too disturbing.
So far, Britain is the only European nation to receive steel from the World Trade Center.
