An 18-year-old Brooklyn man has been arrested in connection with the deadly shooting of a fellow teen earlier this week.
Kendale Robinson of Red Hook was expected to be arraigned Sunday on murder charges.
Police say he knew Al-Taya Conyers, 16, from the neighborhood, but that they were not in a relationship.
Investigators say Robinson was identified by witnesses who saw the shooting early Thursday morning.
When police arrived at the intersection of Warren and Bond Streets, they found Al-Taya Conyers shot once in the head.
The shooting took place just a block from where she lived at the Gowanus Houses in Boerum Hill.
Conyers was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
