Police are continuing their search for the man who stabbed two men to death and seriously injured a third yesterday morning on a Manhattan subway.

The stabbings happened around 5 a.m. on a Brooklyn-bound 2 local train.

Police say Darnell Morel, 24, and Ricardo Williams, 24, were killed following an altercation with another group.

According to reports, the fight happened after one of the men tried to toss a bag of trash from the train to a trash can on the platform. The bag hit a man standing near the door of the train, who pulled a knife.

Police stopped the train at the Houston Street station.

A 23-year-old man remains hospitalized at St. Vincent's with wounds to his neck and arm.
