The new amusement park on Coney Island will be accompanied by a new brew.
The Shmaltz Brewing Company is rolling out Coney Island Luna Lager this summer to commemorate the launch of the new Luna Park.
The beer is being added to the company's already existing line of Coney Island-inspired beers.
The mayor announced an ambitious deal Tuesday with Italian amusement company Zamperla to have 19 rides up and ready by Memorial Day.
The original Luna Park opened at Coney Island in 1903 and closed in 1944 after much of it was destroyed by fire.
