A Brooklyn woman was killed late Tuesday morning after being hit by a fuel delivery truck in Prospect Heights.
It happened at the intersection of Pacific Street and Classon Avenue around 11:30 a.m.
Police say the truck was traveling northbound on Pacific Street when the driver hit her.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses say the 59-year-old victim was pushing a walker as she was crossing the street.
"She was looking down. She wasn't looking at the traffic or anything like that," said one witness.
"Yeah, I don't think the driver to me would have been able to see her. She didn't quite, to me, probably saw that she wasn't supposed to cross," said another witness.
The driver stayed at the scene.
No criminality is suspected.
