The parents of a 16-year-old Queens girl accused of fatally stabbing a man at a subway station say she feared for her life.
As of Saturday afternoon, police said they were still looking for whoever stabbed Thomas Winston, 29, inside the 21st Street-Queensbridge station on Christmas Eve.
But the parents of Cyan Brown say their daughter is responsible for the stabbing. They say the girl acted in self-defense, after being chased by a group of seven or eight men into the F-line station Thursday night.
They say their daughter feared she would be sexually assaulted, or possibly even killed. And, they say she tried to run away, but was grabbed and left with little choice but to defend herself.
Winston, who was stabbed in the torso, was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
