The mug shot of the New York Knicks' newly signed point guard Jason Kidd has been released, after he was arraigned Sunday on a misdemeanor DWI charge.
Kidd, 39, crashed his Cadillac Escalade into a telephone pole in Long Island.
He was released on his own recognizance.
The 10-time All-Star player was treated for minor injuries at the hospital and then handed over to Southampton police.
He could face up to a year in jail.
The Knicks last week signed Kidd to a three-year, $9.5 million deal.
He was seen as a mentor for Jeremy Lin, who has now signed an offer sheet with the Houston Rockets.
The Knicks have until just before midnight Tuesday to match Houston's offer.
