New York Giants star Victor Cruz is out promoting his new memoir.

He appeared at the Queens Theatre in Flushing Meadows Corona Park Friday for an interactive discussion about his book, "Victor Cruz: Out of the Blue."

At the event, moderated by NY1's Budd Mishkin, the wide receiver reflected on winning a Super Bowl early in his young career.

"It was just unreal for a guy like myself to watch the Super Bowl every year from my little house in Paterson and to see it and to be a part of it and to win it, it was the best feeling in the world," he said.

Cruz will also be at the Queens Center Mall near the Time Warner Cable store on July 20.

The two events are part of NY1 parent company Time Warner Cable’s “Enjoy Queens Better” campaign that encourages kids to read, among other philanthropic initiatives.
