QVC held a fasion show Wednesday night to kick off Fashion Week and honor their top designers. NY1's Jessica Abo filed the following report.

Just days before their ready to wear collection hits the airwaves, the QVC New York Fashion Week Runway Show gave a sneak peak at the network's lineup for spring.

Inside Center 548 there were famous designers, TV celebrities and even a dancer among the stars.

"I've been raised on QVC. My mom always made me watch QVC with her, so I can't wait till their new launch on Friday," said Cheryl Burke of "Dancing with the Stars".

"It's like the walking, talking, living catalogue. So you're able to explain it. So it's a little bit of theatre, a little bit of show business. So the idea to reach so many people is what makes it so terribly exciting," said Designer Dennis Basso.

"Thrilled to be here tonight for QVC's show which is kicking off Fashion Week because for the first time I have a collection that's going to be featured during Fashion Week," said Designer Fern Mallis.

And while many of the designers here are household names on the retail network, three women are about to make their QVC debut.

"I'm basically showing what I'm best known for which is some of my bohemian and maxi dresses. I'm also doing a little black dress with an embellished back," said Designer Cynthia Vincent.

Joining Vincent, designers Geren Ford and Karen Zambos showed off looks you'll want to slip into come next season.

"QVC has made themselves an important part of Fashion Week and the fashion world by bringing in the top designers that they have," said TV Host and Author Maria Menounos.

And whether you sport a floral print or something solid, QVC designer and "Gossip Girl" actor Kelly Rutherford says no matter what you wear be true to yourself.

"How we look so much depends on how we're feeling inside and I think the biggest thing is to wear things that make you feel beatiful and represent you," said Rutherford.

QVC will air the runway show this Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m.
