Five-star designer Tommy Hilfiger put it all in perspective, saying, "It's the Super Bowl of fashion, music, sports and Hollywood."

New Yorker and fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker knows the Met and the red carpet very well.

"I think there's something unique about these particular steps, nothing more terrifying, quite frankly, than these particular steps," Parker said. "But I think there's a focus that's different than a movie premiere. It's about celebrating discipline and skill and celebrating this important museum."

Funny man and TV host Jimmy Fallon agreed.

"Well look, I'm just exhausted from walking up all these stairs. It's a nightmare and I shouldn't have to do this, I work too hard. Someone should carry me up these stairs," said Fallon.

Academy Award-winner Hilary Swank both accompanied, and wore, Michael Coors.

"Everyone converging in one place. You know, you have designers, sports figures, musicians, actors. It's kind of everyone all in one place. It's really fun," said Swank.

Everyone was looking great on the red carpet but Tebow did not like my question.

Whipple: What do you like better, the girls or the clothes? That's what I want to know!

Tebow: You know, it'll just be a great evening. It'll be a lot of fun.

This was about as close to the Oscars as one can get in the Big Apple.
