New York International Fringe Festival

First up, New York City does Fringe. Billed as the largest multi-arts festival in North America, the 16th annual New York International Fringe Festival is in full bloom. From the one-woman show "The Women Of Spoon River" to a "Sound Of Music" parody called "The Hills Are Alive," expect to see the unexpected in this New York summer staple.

Next, calling all gumshoes! Get ready to solve a murder case on the streets of the Lower East Side, courtesy of Live In Theater. This interactive theatrical experience turns the spotlight on the audience as they roam the streets of Manhattan to crack real murder mysteries like the Ryan Case of 1873. The show runs at various times on weekends and tickets start at $39.

6th Annual Jazz Age Lawn Party

Next, care to Charleston? The 6th annual Jazz Age Lawn Party is set to swing all weekend long. The event will feature Michael Arnella And His Dreamland Orchestra, along with dancing, a 1920s motorcar exhibition, a parade of hats and more. Admission is $15.

Catch a star before she fades. British diva Tracie Bennett takes to the Broadway stage one last time as Hollywood songstress Judy Garland in "End Of The Rainbow" on Sunday. Tickets start at $32.
