NY1's weekly segment "Your Weekend Starts Now" shows entertaining picks for great things to do this weekend all around the city. NY1's Arts reporter Stephanie Simon filed the following report.

"The Muppet Movie" and "Joe McGinty and the Loser's Lounge"

First up, why are there so many songs about rainbows? Well, find out this weekend with a screening of the classic Kermit flick "The Muppet Movie" at the Prospect Park Bandshell. But first, sing and dance with Joe McGinty and the Losers Lounge. It's all Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free and part of the Celebrate Brooklyn concert series.

Chin Chih Yang's "Kill Me or Change"

Feel like burying yourself in art this weekend? You're not alone. Head to the Queen's Museum of Art to see artist Chin Chih Yang perform "Kill Me or Change." Thousands of aluminium cans will be dropped on Yang in a statement about overconsumption. Performances are Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.

I ? BOB: The Amazing Adventures of an Ordinary Guy
