NY1's weekly segment "Your Weekend Starts Now" shows entertaining picks for great things to do this weekend all around the city. NY1's Arts reporter Stephanie Simon filed the following report.

Best Of Jim Caruso's "Cast Party" Benefit

First up, on Thursday night it's the Best of Jim Caruso's "Cast Party." His weekly sing-along for the theater set moves down the block from Birdland to Town Hall for an all-star benefit for the Actor's Fund. On the line-up are actor Linda Lavin and funny lady Lisa Lampanelli. Showtime is at 8 p.m. and tickets range from $25-$75.

Cirque Le Jazz

From Thursday night through Sunday, it's a circus show set to the Great American songbook. Check out "Cirque Le Jazz" at the Theater For The New City at First Avenue between 9th and 10th Streets. It's a one-act circus production that juggles physical feats, musical theater and vaudeville. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children. But on Thursday night, it's pay what you wish!

Wyclef Jean at City Winery

Friday night, former Fugee Wyclef Jean comes to the City Winery for an acoustic set. The evening is called "Discovery Of Wyclef Jean," so expect a very intimate evening with the rapper-guitarist and humanitarian. Tickets are $55.

Bjork at Roseland

Saturday night, it's one of your last chances to see Icelandic original Bj—rk perform her new album, "Biophilia," at the Roseland Ballroom. The album explores the interaction of science and music, and her shows are always a unique sensory experience. Tickets range from $95-$150.

Oscar Party at the Paley Center

Lastly, this Sunday don't thank the Academy... thank the Paley Center For Media in Midtown for throwing this Oscar viewing party. Starting at 7 p.m., the party includes prizes, food and drink, and tickets are $40.

Blues Brothers at Lehman

At 8 p.m. Saturday, the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in the Bronx presents "The All-New Original Tribute To The Blues Brothers," featuring members from its original London run. Put on your hats and sunglasses and get down to the sounds with Jake and Elwood Blues. Tickets are $25-$40.
