This is the last weekend churches can hold services in city schools.

After Sunday, the Bloomberg administration plans to enforce a court ruling saying they must leave.

The churches would then be forced to find new spaces for worship.

A bill passed by the state Senate last week would allow them to stay, and discussions are underway for the Assembly to follow suit, but Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver said there will be no action next week on the bill.

"The church, as I understand it, is going back to the court next week for further guidance on February 17th, and I think to be appropriate, we should wait for the outcome of that decision before we move ahead," said Silver.

The speaker said concerns about how long the churches are allowed to stay in schools still need to be cleared up.
