Police have arrested a man who they say exchanged gunfire with officers in Harlem early Saturday morning.

Officers say they heard gunshots at around 3 a.m. Saturday around West 111th Street and Lenox Avenue.

They say they found a 27-year-old John Bradley with a gun in his hand.

Police say when the suspect aimed his gun at the officers, they shot at him.

He ran, but was caught a few blocks away, according to police.

No one was hit.

Police got a hold of the weapon that they say he tossed while running away.

The officers were taken to St. Luke's Hospital for ringing in the ears.

Investigators say charges are pending.
