Police were still looking on Sunday for the people involved in Friday's brazen gunpoint kidnapping of two people on the streets of Washington Heights in Manhattan.

New surveillance video released by the NYPD shows the two victims, a man and a woman, walking near 173rd Street and Haven Avenue a little before 7 p.m. Friday.

A few moments later, two men, seen above left, are seen running in the direction of the victims, followed by a dark minivan, seen above right.

Authorities say two men forced their victims into the van at gunpoint.

The minivan is seen on the video turning around and speeding off.

"Came down the street this way and then the car pulled up on the opposite side, and she screamed. He picked her up," said one eyewitness.

"It was a Chrysler, it was like a navy blue Chrysler, and it turned down the one way, it pulled over and it stopped. And a couple of guys came out and picked up the girl, pushed her in the car," said another eyewitness.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
