A discount bus service in Chinatown will be stuck in park for awhile longer after being ordered to cease all operations.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is calling the Fung Wah bus service a public safety hazard.

It says recent inspections show Fung Wah failed to repair its vehicles, falsified inspection records, and failed to meet drug and alcohol testing requirements.

This new order replaces a previous one revoking the company's operating license.

The company has had some serious accidents in recent years including a deadly one in 2008, when a bus jumped a curb in Manhattan. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
