Two people were charged Saturday after allegedly stealing a truck from the Department of Environmental Protection and crashing into a Manhattan barbershop.

Raynel Green, 32, and Raymond Moore, 36, are charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.

Green is also charged with reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.

Police say Green was driving the stolen truck, which the DEP believes was taken from a repair shop in Lower Manhattan.

Investigators say he crashed into four vehicles, including a cab, before colliding into a barbershop on the Upper East Side.

"I was going to bed and I heard a noise, and it was not like the usual noises of the trucks. I realized something was wrong, I came out, and then I saw a truck that slammed into the building," said one resident.

Two drivers in the other vehicles that were hit were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Green and Moore were also taken to the hospital, where they were arrested.
